What’s the Cheapest Time to Visit Vegas?

Vegas is the best tourist destination in terms of adventure and the place to have absolute fun. To avoid paying through the nose, check out the following cheapest times to visit Vegas

1. Visit during Weekdays

If you plan to go to Vegas, go during days when not many people are visiting, when the demand is low. Las Vegas, because of its non-stop party atmosphere, tends to bring in a crowd on weekends. It is advisable to go to Sin City during weekdays when hotel rooms are cheaper and readily available. You can get the rooms at a lower rate from Sundays to Thursdays compared to booking on overcrowded Friday to Sunday. You can also consider making your bookings months in advance if you have to be in the city during the weekend.

2. Ideal Months and Seasons

December and January are considered the cheapest months to visit Vegas.  Visit when people are preparing for the holidays; vacation spots are less crowded then. In January you can get up to 25% discounts on airfare. To save more money, book flights in advance, one month or more. Just avoid New Year's Eve.

July and August do not host many conventions because of the monsoon heat. Most vacationers prefer visiting during spring and fall; if you can endure the weather, you can visit and spend less while avoiding crowds.

3. Holidays and Conventions

Travel to Vegas in November before Thanksgiving if you're looking for great deals. The services tend to be more expensive after the holiday. There are no big celebrations on the Fourth of July, so it is a perfect day to travel if you want to visit for a holiday.

All conventions and major events spike up rates; research upcoming events before booking your trip. Hotels and other services can be sold out during Super Bowl weekend events, the Consumer Electronics Show, and New Year's Eve.

If you must visit during conventions, you can consider hotel rooms in Downtown Vegas and off-Strip casinos since they'll have less traffic.
