1. Richard Harrison has been an Old Man since he was 38 Years Old.

On the show, Richard Harrison was always referred to as the "old man" until he passed on. You might think he was called so due to his old age. Well, that is partly true but not the entire reality. Richard earned the nickname when he was just 38 years old. His grumpy demeanor could have significantly contributed to his nickname. Richard sadly passed on in June 2018 after an extended battle with Parkinson's disease. 

2. Chumlee was never supposed to be on Set

Chumlee might be your favorite star in the series, but he was never intended to be part of the show. Chumlee, whose real name is Austin Russel, has featured in over 272 episodes of the show, but according to Correy, he was never supposed to be on set. However, early on, the producers decided to give him a shot when filming the show, and he killed it. 

3. More Sales than Pawns, There is a Reason

Pawnshops are incredibly diverse, but considering they give out loans with personal property as collateral, they're associated with financially desperate individuals. According to Rick through his autobiography, you will always see more sales than pawns at their establishment because not many people want to appear on TV. 

4. With rising popularity, Harrison had to expand his business

When the show hit the screen, the premises became a beehive. Consequently, Harrison had not only to increase space but also hire more employees. 30 new employees joined in, and the premise was expanded to 15000 square feet to meet the high customer demand. 

5. The Jim Morrison Artwork was Painted by Denny Dent

The incredible Jim Morrison Artwork mounted on the premise's walls was painted by speed artist Denny Dent. At one point, the painting was for sale for $20,000, but later the tag was dropped.
