Las Vegas is arguably the most extravagant city in America. Nevada's capital is synonymous with fun, spectacle, luxury, and debauchery, so for most people, a visit to Las Vegas involves copious amounts of booze.
However, Sin City is a place that has no equal in the world, so if you want to see Las Vegas and you want to do it without alcohol involved in the mix, don't worry: there is something for everyone!
Here are our top six most fun things to do in Vegas that don’t involvealcohol:
Taste Coca-Cola From Around The World
Right on The Strip, you will find the fantastic Coca-Cola Store Las Vegas. Besides thousands of nifty coke souvenirs on offer, you can go on a tour of the Coca-Cola world. The “Tastes of The World” experience allows guests to try Coke drinks exclusive to dozens of countries from around the globe.
Super fun!
Remember The Titanic
Yes, you read that right.
While the Titanic sank in the North Atlantic, far from the Mojave Desert, there is a beautiful Titanic-themed exhibition deep inside the Luxor hotel. Here you will be able to see numerous objects from the Titanic that have been recovered from the bottom of the ocean. The exhibition includes remains of the luggage, the ship, and a spot-on recreation of the Grand Staircase.
See The Legendary David Copperfield In Action
Arguably the greatest illusionist/magician of all time, the living legend David Copperfield regularly performs at the MGM Grand Hotel. Tickets are pricey, but trust us that seeing one of his shows in person is something you will remember for the rest of your life.
Visit The Big Apple
One visit to the New York-New York hotel will have you feeling like you’ve been transported cross-country to the Big Apple, and one meal at the Shake Shack will cement that illusion.
This is one of my permanent go-to’s when I visit Vegas. Their burgers are delicious and relatively inexpensive.
Have a Date with Celebrities at Madame Tussauds
If you want to hug or take a picture with Muhamed Ali, Lady Gaga, Tiger Woods, or Shaquille O'Neal, then a visit to Madame Tussauds Museum in Vegas is a must.
The resemblance is uncanny, and pictures simply do not do the artistry of these wax statues justice. The museum is located in The Venetian Hotel.
Learn About the Made Men of Las Vegas
Speaking of museums, Las Vegas has one of the most interesting museums in the continental United States. The Mob Museum in Downtown Vegas presents a bold and authentic vision of the history of organized crime in Sin City, as well as its footprint in American history.
Through intimate and interactive exhibits, guests come to learn real-life stories about the biggest players in organized crime.
This stop is perfect for those who like the darker side of life.
