Sip a Cocktail At These Las Vegas Lounges

Headed to Las Vegas? Time to get yourself a proper cocktail. Las Vegas has tons of bars and lounges where you can get your fix.

1. The Velveteen Rabbit

Named after the popular book for kids, the Velveteen Rabbit is located at 1218 South Main Street. Their cocktail lists are made up of creative drinks, each with its own individual story. The bar has a whimsical vibe to it that is so well done it instantly puts you in a relaxed or carefree mood. Sip on your drink of choice while appreciating the different kinds of art present.

2. The Garden Las Vegas

This is one of the many LGBTQ-friendly bars in Vegas. The lounge area has a unique feature where the custom-made fireplace also doubles as a DJ booth. Overall, the Garden Las Vegas is covered in midcentury décor with crystal chandeliers and vibrant green velvet bar stools and booths. Here you can drink your cocktails while taking in beautiful flowers and fountains.

3. Commonwealth

Located at 525 East Fremont Street, the Commonwealth bar has different appealing features, from the upstairs 2,000 square foot bar with an amazing view of the city to a secret back entrance. The rooftop bar and the rest of the bar (located inside) both have their own separate cocktail menus. You can freely try out both and figure out whether you prefer the drinks served inside or outside.

4. Atomic Liquors

This is one of the oldest popular bars found in Vegas. Located on 917 East Fremont Street, the bar got its name when the customers back in 1945 watched atomic blasts upon the roof. Did you know that Barbra Streisand, the famous actor and singer, had her very own seat here? If you ever need a beer, drop by Atomic Liquors and have a go at their sour beer, a specialty loved by their regular customers.

5. Rosina @ the Venetian

The bar’s aesthetic décor has maroon u-shaped banquettes surrounding the bar on either side and high-top tables paired with burgundy chairs. The bar has a sophisticated atmosphere... either that or it’s the fancy champagne call button that allows you to top off your empty flute in a matter of seconds. You have a vast array of cocktails to choose from at Rosina, or you could always ask your server to recommend a special cocktail off the menu.
