Healthy Snacks to Keep In Your Hotel Room

Eat right, save money. Here are some healthy snacks you can enjoy from the comfort of your hotel room:

1. Hard-Boiled Eggs

They are an excellent source of protein and can be quite filling. They are an ideal snack or a quick option for breakfast. You can easily find these at a supermarket or a convenience store. Make things easier for yourself by looking up places on Google Maps near your hotel where you can go and shop (and not get lost).

2. Fruit

With zero cooking required, you can hurriedly whip up a bowl of fruit, all according to your taste and preference. Pick your favorite fruits, wash them well, cut them up into bite-size pieces and serve. 

3. Yoghurt

One of the good things about yogurt (besides the fact that it is super healthy) is that it comes in so many different flavors and sizes. You can either have your yogurt plain or add some fruit slices/nuts to it. Get creative with it and add an entire granola bar, the choice is yours.

4. Vegetables

Remember that quick stop at the supermarket you made earlier? Alongside those hard-boiled eggs, grab a ready-made salad and add it to your cart. The most effortless snack you could make when you get back at the hotel would be for you to cut up some carrots and or cucumbers. You can have them as they are or dip them into some yogurt. There are so many vegetables you can choose from, with a majority of them not requiring any cooking.

5. Smoked Salmon & Tuna

Tuna comes with the perk of being able to eat it straight out of the can. Add some tuna in between slices of bread and have yourself a tuna sandwich. Experiment with the smoked salmon and try to make a five-star Michelin sandwich or wrap. Dub yourself the next Gordon Ramsey and create culinary pieces of art right within the confines of your hotel room.
