Inside My Recent Dining Experience at Seventy Six Tavern

Station Casinos caters to locals all over the Las Vegas valley, with properties ranging from Green Valley Ranch in Henderson to Red Rock Resort in Summerlin.

Now, North Las Vegas is getting in on the action with Seventy Six Tavern. The American-style tavern, named after the year Station Casinos was first established in Las Vegas, is conveniently located at 6345 N. Lamb Blvd. on the corner of Centennial Parkway.

As a North Las Vegas resident, I was thrilled to dine at the new neighborhood gem a few weeks after it opened.

Its vibrant atmosphere immediately impressed me as sports fans packed the bar to watch the New York Yankees take on the Los Angeles Dodgers during the highly anticipated World Series game. Despite being busy, the hospitality and dining experience were incredible.

After a few minutes of scanning the menu of American classics led by Chef Danny Wilkins and Chef Cassandra Northwick, I decided on the Fried Mozzarella ($12), an appetizer served with housemade marinara and topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese. The Firecracker Shrimp ($13), hand-battered and tossed in spicy firecracker sauce, was also a great starter.

Other menu favorites include the Ahi Nachos ($16), crispy wonton chips with fresh ahi tuna, sriracha aioli, sesame seeds, pickled Fresno chili, furikake, green onion, avocado, lime, and cilantro on top, and the Pigs in a Blanket ($12), mini all-beef franks wrapped in a crispy puff pastry with beer whole-grain mustard on the side.

The appetizer menu also features chicken tenders, wings, tacos, quesadillas, and onion rings.

Burgers and sandwiches are a highlight. Each comes with French fries, sweet potato fries, tavern slaw, or tater tots. Onion rings are also an option for an additional charge.

Go the classic route with the All-American Burger ($15), a seasoned grilled short rib blend patty with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and dill pickle chips and your choice of cheese. My personal favorite was the Blue Burger ($15) with blue cheese, bacon, and caramelized onions.

Choose a burger with creamy peanut butter and hot pepper raspberry jam or housemade BBQ aioli and crispy poblano rings for something more creative.

Moving onto the sandwiches, the Mile High Club ($14) may look overwhelming, but it's worth trying. It's a BLT (bacon, lettuce, tomato) with oven-roasted turkey and mayo, served on three slices of bread. The French Dip Panini ($16), another great option, has thinly shaved roast beef, Swiss cheese, and caramelized onions, with creamy horseradish and au jus on the side.

Chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, Philly cheesesteak, and other panini specialties complete the sandwich selections.

The full menu includes flatbreads, entrees such as fish and chips, filet tips, salmon, pasta, and breakfast options like buttermilk pancakes and breakfast tacos.

Only a few desserts are available. Choose from the Whiskey Maple Cake ($8), infused with whiskey and topped with pecans, maple bourbon sauce, and vanilla ice cream, or the White Chocolate Blueberry Cheesecake ($8) with fresh whipped cream.
