While the tourist attractions on the Strip and Downtown Las Vegas are second to none, there’s no denying that other incredible spots are located slightly beyond the city’s limits. For instance, Hoover Dam and the Seven Magic Mountains both come highly recommended. Stopping by the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and the nearby ghost towns would also be exciting activities for adventurous and daring tourists. 

Naturally, these are all sightseeing spots that more or less require a car to get to – unless you’re completely fine with spending a lot of money on an Uber! Some tour agencies do offer shuttle services to these attractions, but if you aren’t into the idea of sticking to a strict itinerary, then renting a car should definitely be on the top of your priority list.
