#4 Kurt Busch tips hand about 2022 plans

Las Vegas native Kurt Busch's chances of competing in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2022 took a wild turn when Ross Chastain was announced as the second driver at Trackhouse Racing and it spurred questions about where Busch would go.  Interestingly enough, a lot of speculation centers on Busch going to 23XI Racing, which is supposed to go to a two-team operation in 2022. Kurt Busch even tipped his hand during an interview with Racer.com with claims that everything was coming together

"Oh, things look very promising. I know where things sit. It’s just so close to being done and getting that announcement out there," Busch claimed in the interview with Racer.com when asked about his plans for the 2022 season. "We still have to wait just a little bit. There are a few puzzle pieces that will have to click in the right way, but I’m smiling about it and so is everybody else around me."
