Las Vegas Nevada was announced as the host city for the 2024 Super Bowl last week, marking the third big NFL event to come to Sin City since the Raiders made it their new home in 2020. The first of these big events will the 2022 Pro Bowl, which will be hosted at Allegiant Stadium, followed by the NFL draft later next year. Not only is this going to be big for the economy, but it also looks like this is the beginning of a very lucrative relationship with the NFL.
"They've obviously accepted legalized gambling, but it also says an awful lot about Las Vegas," Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak said."I mean, Las Vegas is not only the entertainment capital, it's the sports capital of the world... I mean, there's no better venue to hold the Super Bowl than Allegiant Stadium. And hopefully, it will be held here more than once."
