Red Spring Picnic Area is a good picnic ground backed by beautiful views and rich history. There are notices by the boardwalk with useful insights and information as you explore the place. It is a short distance away from Red Rock Canyon and offers an excellent picnic ground after walking along the trails around the Calico Hills. There is sufficient parking for visitors, shaded picnic areas, and if you are lucky, you might see a few small animals and birds.
