About a million years ago, Nevada's desert was flooded by a massive lake which resulted in amazing canyons, spires, and splendid rock formations. The whole family will have a blast exploring Cathedral Gorge State Park's unique caverns and valleys. There is also a visitor center where you can learn more about the area's geologic and prehistoric history. The cost is $12 per night and the campground is open year-round.
