3. Valley of Fire State Park
Valley of Fire State Park has unique and marvelous red sandstone formations across the state line from Utah to Arizona. It is Nevada's largest and oldest state park, including the prehistoric Basketmaker and Anaszai Pueblo cultures. There is a visitor center that showcases the geology, ecology, and history of the area. There are numerous hiking trails across the park and various petroglyph panels at the Mouse's Tank and Atlatl Rock.
