There are only a handful of days before the puck is set to hit the ice for the the2021-2022 season, and the Las Vegas Golden Knights will have another chance to make it back to the Stanley Cup Finals. They will have to endure a 56-game season against 31 other teams looking to do the same thing to accomplish this goal. The journey will kick off on September 26 when the Golden Knights take on the San Jose sharks in preseason action. The rest of the preseason schedule is available below.

Tuesday, September 28, versus the Colorado Avalanche

Thursday, September 30, versus the Los Angeles Kings

Friday, October 1, against the Los Angeles Kings 

Wednesday, October 5, against the Colorado Avalanche

Friday, October 7, against the Arizona Coyotes

Once the preseason is over, Las Vegas will start the regular season against the Seattle Kraken on October 12 before facing the Los Angeles Kings and the St. Louis Blue. While these first couple of matchups will give the Golden Knights time to gel as a team and test their new goalie combination, the October 26 game against the Colorado Avalanche will be their first real test. This is where Vegas will have to fine-tune both their defense and offense to get an idea of what the playoffs might have in store for them.
