Like it or not, Kyle Busch is one of the most brutally honest figures in NASCAR history, and that is what endears him to his audience. This is also what enrages his detractors and fuels their nonstop commenting on the Las Vegas native's career. Kyle Busch has seemingly struck a chord once again after making remarks about dirt track racing. 

“Cut the cord. As Richard Petty said, dirt takes our sport backward,”  Kyle Busch said when talking about the Easter Sunday dirt race at Bristol Motor Speedway. The race was introduced in 2021 and is another example of NASCAR creating gimmicks to bring in news audiences. While Busch is probably right that the move brings the sport back a step, that is what has made it so interesting for fans to watch.
