The Las Vegas Aces have already made headlines this season with the signing of Becky Hammon as their new head coach and have done so once again after announcing that A'ja Wilson would be returning in 2022. The former WNBA Finals MVP was an unrestricted free agent, and while no concrete figures have been posted about Wilson's new contract, she is likely going to make a lot of money off of this deal.

"A'ja is a generational talent both on and off the court, and I'm excited to have her back in the fold with the Aces," new Aces coach Becky Hammon said in a statement. "She has been the leader of this team, and an integral part of the Las Vegas community since the day she was drafted, and I know our fans are ecstatic to once again have her at the forefront of our pursuit of a WNBA Championship."

Despite not leading her team back to the Finals in 2021, Wilson managed 18.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and around three assists per game. She also has star power in Chelsea Gray, Riquna Williams, and Kelsey Plum, who will probably all be happy to have their centerpiece back on the court.
