Planning to be in Las Vegas June 14- 20? Pack your sunscreen and get ready to sweat- it's going to be hot. According to the national weather service, Las Vegas is in for a serious heatwave. In fact, next week may see the hottest temperatures on record!
“It’s a little uncertain yet, but it could get warmer than 116,” said weather service meteorologist Stan Czyzyk. “We’re confident in 110 to 116, but it potentially will be a little warmer than that.”
Currently, the hottest recorded temperature in the city is 117 degrees Fahrenheit.
The heat rolls into Vegas over the weekend. Saturday, June 12 will see a high of 103, Sunday will see 107, and by Monday the temperature will soar to 109.
