Elton John is a star, and he had his first residency at the Colosseum at Caesars between 2004 and 2009. Over this period, his earnings stood at $166.4 million cumulatively. He also attained several accolades, including the Kennedy Center Honor.
"The Million Dollar Piano"
Elton came back bigger and better for a second residency at the same location. It ran between 2011 and 2018 with his show, "The Million Dollar Piano". The live shows had a great run with a significant fan base, earning him more than $130 million. By early 2015, the Million Dollar Piano was already at a hundred performances. While still on this residency, he got a second son, another highlight during this period. In 2014, he also celebrated 40 years of one of his best albums, the "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road."
