AFAN AIDS WALK 2024 Has A New Home Base

Celebrity-packed fundraiser will draw thousands to Las Vegas Ballpark for its 34th year.

It seems like only yesterday that we experienced the wonderful RIBBON OF LIFE charity show. Presented by GOLDEN RAINBOW foundation, RIBBON OF LIFE bid an early farewell to Tropicana Las Vegas on December 3rd, 2023. The 35th edition of their annual gala saluted its longtime home by gathering showgirls from many decades of Trop's legendary Folies Bergere. AFAN's annual AIDS WALK is scheduled for Sunday, April 28th, and is moving its base to Summerlin's Las Vegas Ballpark for 2024. So line up your sponsors, lace up your shoes, leash up your poochie, and join the queue for another massive community effort. As usual, it'll be packed with celebrities, sass, sights, and sounds. Don't allow the inclusion of "Tropicana" and "Ballpark" in one article to confuse you. Las Vegas Ballpark is a modern existing structure near Red Rock Resort. It's home to our minor league AVIATORS along with events like the annual ENCHANT Christmas attraction. The site is easily accessed from all regions of the valley via the 215 Beltway.  For more on Las Vegas Ballpark, visit www.thelvballpark.com. To get everyone in the mood for frivolity and fundraising, AIDS WALK will be preceded by a teaser event. On April 13 from 11 am to 4 pm. bring your vehicle to Piranha Nightclub and neighboring Gipsy for STUDS AND SUDS Car Wash. The hottest show boys, dancers, and acrobatics strip down and soap up to wash your cars and raise money for the AIDS WALK LAS VEGAS.
