House of Blues to host benefit concert featuring Billy Gilman, Chadwick Johnson, and many more...

Yes, we know...you haven't even placed your rotting pumpkin into the compost pile yet, and we're already promoting Christmas shows. Nevertheless, Thanksgiving is a few weeks away, and Mariah Carey is already loose in your attic. So quit complaining and get ready for BLUE CHRISTMAS

2024's inaugural performance of BLUE CHRISTMAS took place last December 8th. The afternoon event served brunch and featured host Edie Entertainer. Guests included American Idol's David Hernandez, Cierra Bliss, Estevan Velasco, the Chippendales, and singer Brett Pruneau.

VEGAS 411 was in attendance and captured these shots:

Brett Pruneau (above) is the only performer slated for a return to BLUE CHRISTMAS. The 2025 event boasts a new line-up and an evening concert format:

"Headlining this year’s event is Billy Gilman, the Grammy-nominated country and pop artist best known for his powerful vocals and runner-up finish on ‘The Voice.’ Joining him on stage are Broadway and television star Michelle Murlin, award-winning vocalist Mark Preston, Las Vegas favorites Brett Pruneau and Ryan Beyer, and powerhouse entertainer Skye Dee Miles & The Joy Love Experience. Together, they will bring a mix of holiday classics and show-stopping performances to the House of Blues stage."

“Blue Christmas is about celebrating the season together as a community,” said Antioco Carrillo, executive director of AFAN. “It’s an afternoon filled with music and connection — a reminder that joy is just as much a part of the HIV story as resilience and advocacy. Through events like this, we create spaces where people can come together, be entertained, and also be reminded of the power of compassion in our community.”

"Blue Christmas aligns with World AIDS Day on Dec. 1, observed annually to honor the fight against HIV/AIDS and to advance education about U=U, or 'undetectable equals untransmittable.' AFAN continues to champion this message as part of its mission to reduce stigma and promote health equity across Southern Nevada."

Tickets for BLUE CHRISTMAS start at $35 and can be ordered here. Meet-and-greet opportunities with Billy Gilman can be added for an additional charge. Showtime is 7 pm on November 30th. House of Blues is located off the Mandalay Bay Hotel casino floor.
