ALL SHOOK UP Celebrates Ten BIg Years
Kurt Brown's live-band Elvis tribute achieves a milestone at Alexis Park Resort
"Legends never die. They just fade away". Perhaps that's true unless the name is Elvis Presley. Gone since 8/16/77, the man known as "The King" continues to fascinate, excite, and bring fans together. Since the release of Baz Luhrmann's 2022 biopic, the interest in Presley's legacy has increased throughout Sin City.
VEGAS 411 recently attended MY BROTHER ELVIS, Westgate's intimate experience with Presley's stepbrother David E. Stanley. This month, the live band tribute production ALL SHOOK UP celebrated ten big years in Las Vegas.
Once a part of the line-up at troubled V THEATERS (see our 2024 investigative report here), ALL SHOOK UP wisely relocated to Alexis Park Resort more than a year ago. Since then, it's expanded to seven nights a week, becoming a top draw in a collection of classic entertainment at the resort's Modern Showrooms.
Producer Kurt Brown (IT TAKES TWO, TINA - A Tribute to the Queen of Rock and Roll) commemorated the event on January 20th, exactly ten years to the evening of ALL SHOOK UP's premiere performance. Longtime cast members, fans, and other artists gathered outside the showroom to pose for photos and sign autographs.
ALL SHOOK UP features a rotating cast of performers, including longtime Elvis Presley impersonator Travis Allen. The leads are backed by a rock-solid group of musicians. Brown describes the 75-minute showcase as "an energetic musical journey through love, lust, and patriotism; symbolic themes in the life of Elvis Presley." The show spans three decades of hits, with all of your Presley favorites being presented as if for the first time.

Through the years, ALL SHOOK UP has piled on the critical and audience-posted accolades. TripAdvisor ranks it as one of the top shows to see in all of Las Vegas, with over 2,200 five-star guest reviews. Check out the video by "Joe In Vegas" (above) for clips and another stellar endorsement.
