Local bars and lounges offer winter wonderlands for cozy Christmas cheer...

As promised in other recent entries, we're keeping up with all of the holiday events that Las Vegas is offering this season. In addition to ENCHANT, Sand Dollar's two lounges, Sexy Santa Brunch, and specialty cocktails at Ski Lodge and Golden Tiki Lounge, we have two more cool spots to check out.

SANTA BABY HOLIDAY POP-UP BAR

AHERN LUXURY BOUTIQUE HOTEL continues to stake its claim on uniqueness. In addition to fantastic restaurants, outstanding service, brand-new shows, and the cleanest hotel in all of Las Vegas, AHERN has temporarily transformed its new Vita Bella Wine Bar and Social Club into "Santa Baby Holiday Pop-Up Bar". VEGAS 411 stopped by last evening to check it out, along with a delightful performance of "ELEGANCE" by Nelia Ross in the Ahern Live Showroom. And of course, we couldn't leave before another fantastic meal at Ottimo Pizza Kitchen.

A complete schedule of Santa Baby Events is listed below, or you can visit the website by clicking here. SANTA BABY POP-UP BAR runs now through December 23rd. Ahern Luxury Boutique Hotel is located at 300 W. Sahara Avenue, adjacent to Golden Steer Steakhouse. Ample free parking is available.

BAD ELF at SILVERTON CASINO

Last week we told you about BOOZY BRUNCH with SEXY SANTA, a new way to spread the holiday cheer. VEGAS 411 attended the 10 am launch but headed first to SHADY GROVE LOUNGE. The normally rustic casino-side pub, which features an Airstream trailer repurposed as a mini bowling alley, is the annual location for BAD ELF POP-UP.

While the adorable Christmas hangout wasn't open for business so early in the morning, we were able to stroll through and grab a bunch of photos for you. BAD ELF features seasonal cocktails and themed events like a “Single Mingle Party”, “Ugly Sweater Holiday Party”, and “Holiday PJs Party”. Click here for full details and schedule.

Silverton Casino is located at 3333 Blue Diamond Road, just off the Blue Diamond exit of Interstate 15. Free parking and EV charging stations are always available.

MINUS 5 ICE BAR - Three Locations

You'll get a chilly reception of the warmest kind when you visit Minus 5 Ice Bar. Now with three locations at Shoppes at Mandalay Place, the Linq Promenade, and Venetian Resort Las Vegas, Minus 5 has added Christmas cheer for wonderful photographs and memories:

Owner Noel Bowman, whose name is synonymous with the holidays, not only owns and operates Minus 5 but is the mastermind behind the 1923 Prohibition Bar. That stylish speakeasy, home to chilling GHOST STORIES by Kent Axell (review here), is tucked away behind a bookcase next to Minus 5's Mandalay Bay location.
