Spiegelworld revives a concept that was ahead of its time...

If you want to witness a fascinating reaction from diehard Vegas fans, just mention Spiegelworld's 'VEGAS NOCTURNE'. You'll see a mixture of joy, sadness, nostalgia, and appreciation in their eyes. Those yearning fans now have reason to rejoice with THE PARTY.

2014's VEGAS NOCTURNE was part of a "grand social experiment" that included the adjacent restaurant Rose.Rabbit.Lie (now SUPERFRICO). An all-evening drinking/dining/entertainment/nightclub experience, VEGAS NOCTURNE was tough to summarize in concept and execution. Even actor Neil Patrick Harris botched the name when praising it on ELLEN.

VEGAS NOCTURNE lasted only half a year. Still, it introduced Piff the Magic Dragon, tap dancers Sean and John, aerial bathtub hunk David O'Mer, American Horror Story's Spencer Novich, and many other entertainers to Sin City audiences. Now, breakout VEGAS NOCTURNE performer Laurie Hagen has returned to her original venue...and this time she's hosting THE PARTY.
Host Laurie Hagen welcomes you to The Party...
Entertainer Laurie Hagen (above) is the heart and soul of THE PARTY. Hagen's "Hrit" did the heavy lifting in VEGAS NOCTURE as well. A bubbly, vivacious, irreverent, and unpredictable chanteuse, Ms. Hagen boasts a resume that includes actress, cabaret star, songwriter, clown, dancer, and burlesque performer. In other words, she was born to be part of the Spiegelworld family. Unlike its predecessor, THE PARTY doesn't require paragraphs of explanation. A three-course dinner is served as entertainers delight and excite. You could refer to it as a dinner show, but you won't mistake THE PARTY for a night out in Branson or the Poconos.
As with any Spiegelworld production, THE PARTY is overflowing with bawdy humor, stunning physical feats, tastefully-bared skin, and foot-stomping music. Unlike VEGAS NOCTURE's all-night concept, THE PARTY runs a tight two hours.
The Atmosphere
Guests are welcomed to The Party by Ms Hagen, who holds court in her very European parlour. You can enjoy a glass of prosecco while basking in a treasure trove of artwork, antiques, and glorious Spiegelworld memorabilia.
As Laurie greets the next wave of arrivals, you'll be escorted to the elegant new "Blue Room". Created especially for The Party, this intimate space is designed to accommodate no more than fifty partiers—all the better to take in every detail.

Don't be surprised if some of The Party's minglers stop at your table for a song, story, or trick. Everyone here seems to have a surprise up their sleeve...or in their pocket.

The Meal
The idea of a one-price night in the city should seem especially appealing when it includes a stunning meal from the chefs at SUPERFRICO. Chosen as VEGAS 411's 'Best New Restaurant of 2021', SUPERFRICO is "dinner with a side of insanity". Traditional dishes are often reimagined in colorful and intriguing ways. They're served by a motley crew of oddballs with one goal...to make your experience unforgettable.
The Party's three-course dinner (above) is a collection of SUPERFRICO's biggest hits. Some selections come with an additional charge. Add your favorite wine, spirits, or mixed cocktails as The Party kicks into high gear. The beverage menu is available here.
The Show
In addition to Ms. Hagen, THE PARTY features a mixture of new and possibly familiar faces. OPM (aka Opium) fans will recognize mesmerizing bubble artist Denis Lock, mad plate spinner Gypsy Wood, and shifty-eyed juggler Lindsay Benner.

Lindsay Benner takes guests on a "First Date"
One performer new to this writer is acrobat Pawel Walczewski. The Polish native, formerly of LOST SPIRITS Distillery and Franco Dragone's HOUSE OF DANCING WATER, defies laws of science and gravity in a beautiful act that can only be seen here.
"The act and concept idea were created by me", Mr. Walczewski tells VEGAS 411. "I'm very honored to be part of the show, surrounded by an amazing team." The intensely shredded performer is even more impressive to watch when you're indulging in a delectable tiramisu.

I've covered only a portion of the entertainers packed into The Party. As with all Spiegelworld productions, acts and cast members may differ the next time you come. This makes it ideal for first-timers to return with friends. It's worth noting that the $150 price for show and dinner (tax, tip, and beverages are additional) makes it easy to entertain your visitors in just one place.
After THE PARTY
Once The Party comes to a close, you're free to hang out at Superfrico's bar or the adjacent Ski Lodge. You'll see even more eye-popping antics. Head over to the deejay booth and you might spot Gypsy Wood, who trades plate-spinning for hit-spinning on select evenings.
