ENCHANT CHRISTMAS - A Holiday Sensory Feast Times Two
Sprawling seasonal attraction expands this year to a pair of spectacular displays...
Last year we introduced you to ENCHANT CHRISTMAS at Summerlin's Las Vegas Ballpark, nestled in the shadow of Red Rock Resort. At the time, we assured you that the inaugural event would most certainly not be its last. As it turns out, ENCHANT CHRISTMAS has not only returned to the Ballpark for the 2023 holiday season but has expanded to a second location at RESORTS WORLD, directly on the Strip.

Proclaiming itself to be the "World's Most Magical Christmas Experience", ENCHANT CHRISTMAS light maze and market is a feast for the senses. Sights, sounds, and unforgettable fragrances feed your soul as the chilly night air surrounds you and your loved ones. From skating on actual ice to enjoying freshly-popped popcorn and rich hot cocoa, you'll be engulfed in holiday memories both old and in the making.
VEGAS 411 was invited to revisit the Summerlin location prior to its official unveiling on November 25th. There we witnessed dozens of workers erecting stages, mazes, and villages...and hanging millions upon millions of lights. Shopkeepers draped decorations and pine boughs from their storefronts as bakers whipped up cookies and other festive treats. Blue-clad "elves" practiced their best North Pole greetings as dancers perfected their moves and musicians prepared a rich holiday soundscape.
Entertainer E'Stefano DiSanto, whom we recently covered here, accompanied me to the sneak peek. The hard-working showman was naturally drawn to the attraction's dance floor. A little bit of Rubik's Cube with a whole lotta SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, this spot is perfect for selfies...or next year's Christmas Card photograph.

As with last year's presentation, ENCHANT CHRISTMAS features a seeker's maze. Visitors are encouraged to locate eight lost toys while finding the correct path to a 100-foot Christmas tree. Your "maze passport" serves as both a guide and a scorecard. Completed passports can be then entered to win a HALLMARK CHANNEL-inspired vacation.
HALLMARK CHANNEL is the primary sponsor of both Las Vegas locations. A sentimental favorite for intimate holiday movies, the network is known for creating a warm Christmas atmosphere in homes around the world. Now they're bringing that feeling to life on an epic scale.
Adults can indulge in spiked hot chocolate and cool seasonal cocktails at the Tipsy Tree Lounge...or sip from a selection of Hallmark Channel Wines (yes, that's a real thing) as they stroll through a tunnel of lights. The little ones can share their wish list with the Big Guy at Santa's Landing (professional photos can be purchased) and then head to Little Elves Play Place to join in reindeer games.
Ice skating can be added as an option at $18 for adults, and $15 for children 17 and under. Skates are provided, or you can bring your own. There are also a variety of package options and VIP experiences. Take advantage of a special price for Night Owls, and Wednesdays offer free admission to children (one ticket per paying adult). Head here to customize your visit, as well as for information on group sales and other discounts.

ENCHANT CHRISTMAS is guided by Kim Scott, formerly of Cirque du Soleil
After the 2021 premiere, General Manager Kim Scott assured me that the ENCHANT concept would grow and expand. This year there are nine locations spanning from St. Petersburg Florida to San Jose, California. Las Vegas is the only major city (so far) to offer two ENCHANT destinations. One is ideally suited for residents, while the Strip location should appeal to thousands of daily visitors.
ENCHANT at Resorts World boasts a number of superlatives. In addition to everything that the Summerlin location offers, this one has what is most assuredly the largest ice rink and the tallest Christmas tree on the Strip. VEGAS 411 was there for the official lighting ceremony, as were Ms. Scott, a number of celebrities, and several news agencies.

https://vimeo.com/777529366 As you might expect, there's a bit more bling and sass to the Resorts World location. Less concerned with being family-friendly than being attractive to all, the sprawling attraction boasts a number of sights and sounds that will appeal to even the staunchest Scrooge.

A number of Vegas performers can be spotted at ENCHANT Resorts World. Outrageous aerialist Brandon Pereyda of ZUMANITY leads the charge, putting a distinctively "Vegas" spin on the entertainment offerings. Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter/choreographer David Nicoll (Chippendales, Backstreet Boys) will spread holiday cheer by the sleighful. The opening ceremony was graced by the heavenly vocals of Sophia Monica.

Mathieu Bolillo
No Sin City event would be complete without an acrobat. ENCHANT Resorts World has the talents of entertainer Mathieu Bolillo. The VEGAS 411 team first introduced you to Bolillo last April in this piece. Formerly with Cirque du Soleil, the award-winning athlete would be right at home in shows like Extravaganza, WOW, and Spiegelworld offerings. Producers and casting directors, take note.
