Pilita Simpson, a gifted singer with a Master's Degree in Arts in Education from Harvard, has created programs that combine life skills with artistic expression. Classes, camps, performance opportunities, and mentorships with working industry professionals...they're all part of POSITIVELY ARTS. Being a 501 (c) (3) organization, POSITIVELY ARTS relies on contributions from people like you and me. And as you may expect, many of the city's entertainers are actively involved. Names like Christine Shebeck, Chase Brown, Lily Arce, Jane Sherlock, Damian Costa, Keith Thompson, Michael Shapiro, and Ken Henderson.

The latest fundraiser for POSITIVELY ARTS will take place at NOTORIETY LIVE on February 21st. It's an 80s-themed dance party, hosted by Clint Holmes and Kelly Clinton-Holmes, that's sure to excite "teenagers" of a certain age. Pilita Simpson posted about the event on her social media earlier this month:

Pop Rebels Band will be providing the live music for our Positively Arts 1980's Prom Fundraiser at Notorietylivelv on Friday, Feb 21st!
