'LA DOLCE SUMMER' Arrives at Venetian Resort

When your senses are set to "Summer", everything seems a little more vibrant. Colors are brighter, food tastes better, music is more satisfying, and the air smells wonderful. Venetian Las Vegas Resort aims to capture those feelings in "La Dolce Summer", a new seasonal experience at the Grand Canal Shoppes. In case you didn't know, the second-level shopping promenade at Palazzo Casino was integrated into Grand Canal Shoppes a few years ago. Now branded as the Luxury Wing, this area features the glorious "Wishing Tree" as its centerpiece. This is where La Dolce Summer began on August 1st.

The Wishing Tree is an art installation that evokes the atmosphere of a tranquil Italian garden. Visitors can relax under a canopy of golden leaves and glass birds that top a beautiful olive tree. It's a beautiful respite from the city's sensory overload.

Beginning Friday, Aug. 1, the all-new 'Amore in Fiore' floral arch installation near The Wishing Tree will be the perfect location for awe-inspiring photo moments. "Amore in Fiore" is Italian for "Love in Bloom".

To further elevate the experience, Grand Canal Shoppes will host the interactive event series, 'Spectacular Saturdays', where guests can enjoy complimentary entertainment, including dynamic live music and exciting on-site artists. This will occur on select Saturday afternoons throughout the month.

Spectacular Saturdays - Select Saturdays from noon to 3 p.m. - Adding to the seasonal experience, guests can watch various artists craft custom mementos while listening to upbeat music in the luxury wing. All offerings are complimentary and available while supplies last. The Summer Series events are as follows:

Saturday, Aug. 9 - The series will kick-off with custom notebooks created by a heat foil calligrapher plus an upbeat Italian Pop performance.
Saturday, Aug. 16 - Guests will be able to strike a pose for a personalized fashion sketch from professional illustrator, Schin Loong, capturing their style in real time.
Saturday, Aug. 23 - Guests can enjoy personalized calligraphy on luggage tags and high-energy DJ entertainment by DJ ParaDice.
Saturday, Aug. 30 - To close out the series, fashion sketching will return while guests enjoy the sounds of Italian Pop live at The Wishing Tree.

Guests can enjoy refreshing drink deals at Liam’s Den & Bubble Bar, TRA Viet Coffee & Tea, and Flight Club Las Vegas. You can also indulge in “al fresco”-style dining at Cañonita, Mercato della Pescheria, and Canaletto. Shoppers can enjoy specials on select collections at Jimmy Choo, Stuart Weitzman, Pandora, and more. Additionally, visitors seeking a bucket list experience will also find special ticket offers from Atomic Saloon Show and Minus5 ICEBAR.

Guests can receive an exclusive Grand Canal Shoppes tote bag and visit the charm bar to create a one-of-a-kind, collectible key holder and charm set. How? While there, be sure to visit the Wizard of Oz display at Palazzo's Waterfall Atrium. Erected to commemorate the new Oz SPHERE Experience, the display takes over a space previously occupied by the LOVE art sculpture by Laura Kimpton. "The LOVE sculpture is heading out for a little refresh, but don’t worry, LOVE always finds its way back,” stated a representative for the resort.
