Rita Lim in SOUL FUSION
"This show will cover material ranging from divas like Donna Summer, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Vanessa Williams, ’90s R&B divas SWV, a tribute to Roberta Flack, and a special showcase featuring songs by The Weeknd." It features the talents of Ashley Fuller, Sina Foley, Allie Star, and, of course, Rita Lim.Kiara Sasso at The Composers Room
We first introduced VEGAS 411 readers to Kiara Sasso in January when she performed as part of Las Vegas Bellas. Now the Brazilian entertainer is striking out on her own with BROADWAY BABY GONE POP, her first solo Vegas production.
While Ms. Sasso may be relatively new to Sin City, she has already performed at Maxan Jazz, Keith Thompson's Piano Party (below), The Dennis Bono Show, and sung the National Anthem at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Tickets for Kiara Sasso's BROADWAY BABY GONE POP start at $20 and can be purchased here.

"Broadway Baby Gone Pop" is a bold, genre-bending concert that goes from the biggest Broadway classics to the biggest pop classics. Imagine a show that travels from Phantom of the Opera all the way to Whitney Houston. Backed by a grand piano and infused with Sasso's unmistakable charm and world-class vocals, this is the night Broadway belts meet Billboard beats.

KELLY VOHN: SOPHISTICATED LADIES at Italian American Club
Yet another prolific powerhouse female entertainer is Kelly Vohnn. Best known for her wonderful tributes to Barbra Streisand and Dolly Parton, Ms. Vohnn will salute a half-dozen iconic performers in SOPHISTICATED LADIES. With Keith Thompson as her Musical Director, Kelly will take on Whitney Houston, Etta James, Celine Dion, and Lady Gaga.
From country to pop, ballads to rock, there's nothing Kelly Vohnn can't do. See SOPHISTICATED LADIES on Thursday, November 13th, at the Italian American Club. Showtime is 7 pm and tickets start at $50. Order here.
ANTHONY NUNZIATA - ITALY TO LAS VEGAS
Just one day before Kelly Vohnn's showcase, heartbreaker Anthony Nunziata returns to the IAC with ITALY TO LAS VEGAS. Very much a New Yorker at heart, Mr. Nunziata forms a wonderfully personal bond with his audience, drawing them into every family tale and classic hit. This past June's performance (below) was simply stellar.

DAVE DAMIANI at Vic's Las Vegas
Dave Damiani at Vic’s Las Vegas
Another annoyingly handsome Italian singer is Dave Damiani. The Burbank-based jazz vocalist and his No Vacancy Orchestra have been making waves the past year on the Vegas music scene. They're also garnering a loyal legion of fans nationwide thanks to Dave's album HEART TO HEART (read the VEGAS 411 review here).
It may be a bit of a cheat to include Damiani's weekend appearances in a column dedicated to single-night performances. But once you check him out, you'll understand why he's worthy of rule-bending. Here's a clip from Dave's April 18th performance at Vic's Las Vegas:
