PhotoDump RoundUp - Week Ending 4/26/25
A capsule glance at Sin City last week, as seen through the ‘Vegas Unfiltered’ lens…
ALEXIS PARK RESORT and MODERN SHOWROOMS
This week, the Vegas Unfiltered lens was primarily focused on businesses in and around town. We started at the off-Strip Alexis Park Resort, where I had lunch with noteworthy culinary and entertainment team members.
Pete Housley (rear, glasses) is the CEO of Admit.VIP Entertainment, which produces for Modern Showrooms at Alexis Park. He was joined by the resort's General Manager, Michael Moreno, and Erica Garcia (far left), Food and Beverage Director. We'll leave the fourth person unidentified for now, as she will be the focus of an upcoming announcement.

Alexis Park Resort is a lushly landscaped all-suite retreat just minutes from the airport and the Strip. It’s within walking distance of numerous nightclubs, theaters, and attractions. The property has three pools, a rooftop event space/party deck, convention halls, Alexis Gardens Restaurant & Steakhouse, and Pegasus Bar & Grill.
Two Modern Showrooms pump out over a half-dozen musical productions, including tributes to Motown, Sinatra, Elvis, and the disco era. Get titles, showtimes, and tickets here. The resort will host ULTRA LOAD, a weekend-long LGBTQ pool party and "Gay Village" beginning May 16th.
GOODYEAR BLIMP over Allegiant Stadium
It's common for the famed Goodyear blimp to fly over national sporting events, providing excitement with aerial camera views. But it's a rare sight for the residents of Las Vegas.
Last weekend's WRESTLEMANIA 41 drew thousands, along with the dirigible, which could be spotted from around the Valley. I snapped these pictures during an unexpected sighting near Pinball Hall of Fame.
DC Luxury Auto Window Tinting
Scorching summer weather is nearly upon us, and last year was particularly intense. Yours truly decided to purchase a 2025 vehicle before tariffs made prices soar. Then it was off to DC Luxury Auto Window Tinting to prep it for our harsh climate.
Located minutes from Durango Casino at 6620 S. Tenaya Way #180, DC Luxury Window Tinting is a meticulously run establishment. The showroom presents easy-to-understand options, with salespeople who are knowledgeable and friendly.
Services are by appointment, generally taking two and a half hours or less. A spacious waiting area provides comfortable seating, free wi-fi, coffee, bottled and canned drinks/water, and snacks.
AutoBahn window tinting film reduces glare and direct sunlight while significantly cutting down on heat buildup, especially when parked outside. It adds to privacy and helps prevent UV damage to car interior surfaces and your skin!
I happened to luck out during my tinting installation. Another customer abruptly canceled, freeing up a second technician. The entire experience took about one hour. AutoBahn protective treatment is beautiful, effective, and highly recommended.
Head to the DC Luxury Auto Window Tinting here to schedule your installation. Or call Christana Hunt at 702-566-3939 to beat the heat and protect your investment.
REGAL LUXURY CINEMAS 5 in Summerlin
Many have abandoned the moviegoing experience in recent years. They say that cinemas are filled with disruptive patrons, and that facilities are rundown and dirty. Not so at Regal Luxury Cinemas 5 in Summerlin.
Located at 2070 Park Center Drive near Red Rock Casino, Regal Luxury 5 provides plush recliners, reserved seat selection, a full bar, and hot foods. Ticket prices are higher than standard cinemas, but this is a case where "you get what you pay for".
Summerlin Luxury 5 is included in the "Regal Unlimited" subscription plan. It works like Netflix...pay a flat monthly fee and see as many standard-format films as you'd like. Parking is free and convenient, too.
FLECHA CANTINA at Town Square
Actor/entrepreneur Mark Wahlberg bought into the "Flecha Azul" tequila brand in 2021. Now that he's a Las Vegas resident, a Sin City version of his Flecha Cantina in Huntington Beach seemed predestined.
Flecha Town Square opened late last year in the former Miller's Ale House. Reviews have been mixed-to-positive, with guests lauding the ambiance and relatively reasonable prices. I'd rank the food as "okay". The modern Mexican restaurant boasts a large central bar, split dining area, an outdoor patio, and an event room.
The cantina opens at 11 am on weekdays, 10 am on Saturdays, and 9 am on Sundays for "Endless Brunch". Happy Hour, Daily Specials, and "Tacos & Tequila Tuesdays" add to the charm. Ample free parking is available. Click here for reservations.
AUSSIE HEAT at Notoriety
They're back!!! The men of AUSSIE HEAT have returned to Notoriety in Downtown Las Vegas. This time they're in the main showroom, a much better arrangement for audience interaction. And that's what Aussie Heat is all about.

As host Aaron Lucey says, "You can touch. Grope. Even lick." Purchasing a wristband guarantees lap dances and onstage opportunities. Tipping is allowed, and the primary rule is "There are no rules." The show embraces inclusivity. Gay men are welcome and encouraged to participate in the wild antics.

Filled with comedy and raunchy dance sequences, the show ends with a dance party and photo ops. AUSSIE HEAT performs Thursday through Saturday at NOTORIETY. Get tickets here.
NEONOPOLIS - Nightclubs and Bars
After a show at the third-floor NOTORIETY, head downstairs to explore some newer bars and nightclubs at NEONOPOLIS. Along with the popular Cat's Me0w and The Nerd, additional hotspots have appeared in the last year or so.
SUBSTANCE offers a high-tech atmosphere with an expansive dance floor and deejays. It's open Friday and Saturday from 10 pm to 3 am. RAISED BY WOLVES bills itself as "a wild bar...the dopest spot in town." Hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 5 pm to 4 am.
The Nerd has seemingly found its niche with Midget Wrestling. Yes, you read that correctly. A steady stream of patrons poured into the bowling alley/bar this Saturday night to witness the seemingly taboo sport. We were able to snap a few pics of the ring before doors opened to the public.
Get information and tickets for MicroMania Midget Wrestling by heading here.
INFERNAL Premieres at Downtown Cinemas
It's been exactly two months since VEGAS 411 announced the red-carpet premiere of INFERNAL. Directed by Eric Mathis, the "punk rock horror movie" blends comedy, gore, and shocks into a wild two-hour ride of madness.

The party began on the first level with a glitzy parade of the film's cast and other celebs. Noteworthy guests included Nicole Butler (Desert Fiends), Lisa Wilcox (Nightmare on Elm Street series), Andre Gower (Monster Squad), Brett Wagner (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003), and the team of Mary Kate and Lucas Wayne (the upcoming Clown Motel 3).
After photo ops and interviews, the party moved upstairs to the theater level. Three screens were needed to handle the turnout, with Mathis and filmmaking partner Josh Williams running from one auditorium to the next, thanking everyone who came.

Then everything moved to The Nerd for an after-party. Yes, the cast of a demonic horror film collided with midgets and wrestling fans for one memorable night. We got to speak to Eric Mathis before the party, followed by moments with a few guests and Lucifer himself.
