PhotoDump RoundUp Week Ending 7/19/25
It was a week of scorching temperatures, lightning-filled skies, and cloudbursts. Life operated as usual on the ground, and VEGAS 411 was there...from an intimate French cabaret show to Lady Gaga's latest tour.
THE BRONX WANDERERS at South Point Showroom
Ten years in Las Vegas and still going strong! The Bronx Wanderers gave a trio of fantastic performances at South Point Casino last week. In attendance were journalist Sam Wagmeister, Kevin Sucher (The Docksiders), the "Don of Vinyl" Stevie Dunham, and Diane Fiorentino, a renowned author and advocate for the deaf.
After three years at South Point Casino, The Bronx Wanderers are taking the show to its next phase. This was a recent post on their social media:
"We are BEYOND ecstatic to say we are coming BACK in September to South Point with our NEW 12 Piece Swingin' Bronx Wanderer Orchestra! Like what?! 5 horn players! 3 String Players! And the core 5 are putting together a bunch of "new" songs, medleys, moments, stories, and everything in between."
"Why?! Because we're bored. KIDDING! Because with a boss like Michael Libonatti and the support that he and South Point have given us, we can grow this idea into something new, incredible, and ONLY offered in Las Vegas at the best hotel in Vegas."

South Point Casino offers an endless supply of headliners and lounge-style entertainment, featuring resident shows like The Righteous Brothers and mainstays The Spazmatics and Wes Winters. The Showroom welcomes touring artists like SixtiesMania, Donny Edwards, Herman's Hermits, and Sheena Easton. Get the full schedule here.
Stevie Dunham's Birthday at The Composers Room
Singer-producer Stevie Dunham (above right) had a pretty big week. In addition to toasting The Bronx Wanderers, he performed at his own birthday party inside The Composers Room.

Singer Dana Daye hosted Stevie's open-mic gathering. Ms. Daye appears each Wednesday at the venue's tavern, where a new Summer Menu has joined their Happy Hour food specials.
Proprietor Damian Costa took a moment to introduce son Dayton and his fiancée Ava, who are in the top spot for VARIETY MAGAZINE's "America's Favorite Couple".
The Composers Room is located in the Historic Commercial Center at 953 East Sahara Avenue. It is open seven days a week. Click here for menus, free entertainment, ticketed show schedule, and reservations.
As for the birthday boy, Stevie Dunham informed me that he's now affiliated with Vegas Mob Weddings. The tough-looking teddy bear will portray a mobster for the campy wedding service, which we featured here. Owners Heidi and Joe Marino make every wedding an unforgettable event.

LE CABARET Show at Paris Casino
Remember the excitement of those hourly free shows around the city? They aren't entirely gone...just really hard to find. LE CABARET at Paris Casino is about to take a summer hiatus, but you can still catch it through the end of July.

LE CABARET combines the excitement of Rio Show In The Sky with the wink-wink sensuality of cheeky LADY LIKE, a recently shuttered burlesque revue at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Two alternating hourly productions share DNA with the musical mash-up stylings of Baz Luhrmann's MOULIN ROUGE.
The cast includes vocalist Zelda Fairfax and dancers Lizzy Kuilema, Bailey Rose Schalk, Katie Grenier, and Iryna "Chu" Tomchuk. Tonya Tovias (BurlesQ) and Jaimee Gallego (Lady Like) co-produce LE CABARET. Gallego created the choreography with assistant Miki Horei and dance captain Abbigail Campbell.

Ms. Tovias tells VEGAS 411 that LE CABARET will return on October 3rd. But why wait? Come out and support one of the few remaining free casino shows on the Strip. LE CABARET performs Friday and Saturday nights beginning at 8 pm, now through the end of July. The show is intended for mature audiences.
Lady Gaga MAYHEM BALL at T-Mobile Arena
After her successful Las Vegas residencies, it seemed natural for Lady Gaga to launch The Mayhem Ball 2025/2026 Tour from T-Mobile Arena. Designed to complement her latest concept album MAYHEM, the three-night series played to capacity crowds.
MAYHEM is a welcome rebound from Gaga's two 2024 flops - the box-office disaster Joker: Folie à Deux and its companion album Harlequin. Many attendees wore wild get-ups to honor the spirit of their favorite entertainer.
Our Section 5 tickets included access to Ghost Lounge, one of several event spaces located throughout T-Mobile Arena. Ghost Lounge provides separate bars, concessions, comfortable dining and seating areas, restrooms, and even video games.
As on the previous two evenings, Gaga entered the stage at 8:40 pm, a mere forty minutes past the posted start time. This is in stark contrast to arch-rival Madonna, who commonly arrives two or three hours late.

The Mayhem Ball is drenched in gothic images, characters, and costumes. It ran a little over two hours with four distinct acts and a finale. The production was a welcome balance of new material, longtime favorites, and a few "deep cuts."
A memorable encore began with live backstage video footage of the star removing her make-up, then changing into casual clothes before returning to the stage.

Despite being a global superstar, Lady Gaga is recognized for her candid humanity, grace, and intense appreciation for her success. She closed out the final act by heading into the audience, giving handshakes and face-to-face greetings, and even putting on a fan's sunglasses (below).
