Two Big Top festivals will have you clamoring for a great seat...and a bag of peanuts...

Not everyone can handle clowns, but we all love a great time at the circus. The old-school European vibe, childlike wonder, and excitement are infectious. While circus artistry has evolved and society has demanded the elimination of animal acts, the traveling circus remains an iconic art form. This fall, Las Vegas will be graced with two such festivals.

INTERNATIONAL CIRCUS FESTIVAL of Las Vegas

First out of the gate is the International Circus Festival of Las Vegas. Now in its second year, the festival will be held September 12-15 outside of the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet. That's the super-massive air-conditioned flea market near Arizona Charlie's Casino on Decatur Boulevard.

As much a competition as it is a show, the ICFLV gathers circus acts from around the world to face off under the Big Top. Respected judges view the performances alongside the audience, selecting winners and awarding recipients.

Following the resounding success of its inaugural edition, the 1st International Circus Festival of Las Vegas has firmly established itself as a landmark event in the entertainment capital of the world. With unique shows, rave reviews, and international acclaim, the festival brought together world-class circus artists and captivated audiences with breathtaking acrobatics, daring feats, and unforgettable performances.

Now, with momentum and excitement building, the 2nd International Circus Festival of Las Vegas is underway. Once again, the festival will celebrate the artistry, diversity, and innovation of the global circus community while nurturing local talent and inspiring the next generation. Finalists will compete during the spectacular Gala for top honors and the admiration of a world-renowned jury.

Opening night festivities take place on Friday, September 12th, beginning at 7 pm. Competitions will be spread across Saturday and Sunday, with a Grand Finale and Awards Ceremony on Monday. VEGAS VARIETY CIRCUS FEST

Also in its second year, Vegas Variety Circus Festival will arrive on October 22nd and run through the 27th. Billed as "The Best Talent Competition in Las Vegas", the festival will be held on the grounds of Craig Ranch Regional Park. Wonderfully timed to coincide with cooler Halloween temperatures, Vegas Variety Circus Festival is presented by Julia Makarova and Maxim Popazov. Like the September show/competition, the VVCF is dedicated to helping our city's youth. As a non-profit organization, the Fest has partnered with groups that aid foster children.

At Vegas Variety Circus Festival, we are passionate about giving back to our community and making a difference in the lives of youth. We partner with local organizations to provide foster children with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the magic of the circus. Our goal is to give these children a day they will never forget and inspire them to follow their dreams, no matter how big or small. VEGAS VARIETY CIRCUS FESTIVAL opens Wednesday, October 22nd at 7 pm. Nightly 7 pm shows on Thursday and Friday expand to 1 pm, 4 pm, and 7 pm on Saturday. Sunday's line-up takes place at noon, 3 pm, and 6 pm, with the Grand Finale on Monday, the 27th, at 6:30 pm.
