'VEGAS ROCK TITANS' Debuts at Alexis Park Resort

Classic-rock mashup features the talents of Brett Copeland and an all-star band.

The name of the venue may be "Modern Showrooms", but the entertainment line-up says "retro". From Frank Sinatra to Donna Summer, Elvis Presley to Motown greats, the distinctive sounds of the past are alive at Alexis Park Resort. And now, the greatest rock hits of the last five decades are coming to Athena Showlounge for VEGAS ROCK TITANS. The frontman for VEGAS ROCK TITANS is Brett Copeland. A Los Angeles-based musician and singer, Copeland has collaborated with numerous bands and legends, including Guns and Roses and INXS. He just launched his band LEZ ELECTRIC, featuring Lez Warner of THE CULT on drums.

VEGAS 411 was informed that Warner will eventually join VEGAS ROCK TITANS, a collective of musician friends that have cross-pollinated the West Coast rock scene. Its members are touring players from some of today's biggest bands. Copeland brought VRT together through gigs at the world-famous Viper Room and The Whiskey in West Hollywood. Here's the current line-up of VEGAS ROCK TITANS, as provided by the producers:

Brett Copeland - lead vocals

Brett Copeland has worked with various Grammy-winning super-producers renowned for their work with The Rolling Stones, Queen, Jane's Addiction, Elton John, Michael Jackson, and Alice In Chains. With over 50 commercials, television appearances, and starring roles in international musicals, there is no limit to his versatility.

Jake Faun - guitar/backing vocals

Los Angeles-based guitarist, Jake Faun’s touring and/or recording credits include David Lee Roth, Selena Gomez, Winger, DNCE, and Bryce Vine. Comfortable within country, pop, and rock alike, Faun also has experience as a music director for live performances. The Brighton, England native has also found success online as a teacher and YouTuber.

Philip Paulsen - guitar

Norwegian guitarist Philip Paulsen commands over 17 years of experience as a professional guitar player, songwriter, and producer. Philip has toured the world with chart-topping bands like “Palaye Royale” & “Sleeping With Sirens” and also performed with former members of The Cult & Quiet Riot. His guitar prowess has graced major US rock festivals, including “Aftershock” and “Louder Than Life."

Victor Broden - bass guitar

Victor relocated to the United States from Sweden in 1994 to study Bass Performance and to pursue a career in the music industry. He has been passionately involved with his AOR/Melodic Rock band Transatlantic Radio in addition to working as a Musical Director/Bandleader, responsible for assembling bands for major label recording artist tours, recordings, Las Vegas shows, and major corporate events.

Kyle Huges - drummer (unpictured)

U.K. drummer Kyle Hughes continues to impact the world of music, performing live and recording with artists such as Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal (Guns N Roses, Asia, and Sons of Apollo), Richie Kotzen, Graham Bonnet (Rainbow), and Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Dead Daisies). Kyle has toured extensively throughout the UK USA, Europe, Japan & Russia.

The set list for Modern Showrooms' latest offering spans the sixties to the two-thousands. The seventy-minute set is packed with hits from every decade, with a few slightly deeper cuts. Superstars like Billy Idol and Jim Morrison get the VEGAS ROCK TITANS treatment, along with bands like Aerosmith and Audioslave. Songs include "Purple Haze", "Roadhouse Blues", "Dead Flowers", "Rebel Yell", and "Fight For Your Right to Party". A true standout is "Lasso The Stars", an original song by Copeland that would make Michael Hutchence (INXS) proud.
