Yes, the hallucinogenic, viridescent spirit that supposedly leads drinkers to the realm of the Green Fairy is celebrated every year at this time. Spiegelworld's hit show of the same name is built around the alluring, highly alcoholic nectar, so it's no surprise they're commemorating the event with a promotional tie-in.

The Gazillionaire (above, with members of New Kids On The Block) and his cast at Absinthe are celebrating National Absinthe Day with an incredible prize package giveaway! People can enter via Instagram for a chance to win the ultimate Absinthe package for four, allowing them to see the show in style.

ABSINTHE performs at Caesars Palace every Sunday through Thursday at 8 pm and 10 pm. Showtimes on Friday and Saturday are 7 pm, 9 pm, and 11 pm. Tickets start at $129 (plus taxes/fees) and are available here. The show runs approximately 80 minutes with no intermission. Audience members must be 18 or above.
